Building Performance Colorado and BEAM reporting
A practical starting point for Colorado commercial and industrial owners with buildings of 50,000 sq ft or more.
Check your building →Identify the building first
Search the street address and verify the official BEAM building ID, floor area and property boundary. A campus, multiple meters or adjacent addresses may need separate review. Do not combine records just because the owner or street address is similar.
Report the right year
The 2026 reporting period covers 2025 calendar-year energy data. The annual state reporting and fee deadline is November 1. Use the current BEAM checklist for the report, applicable fees and required progress information.
Read a status literally
“Pending revisions: Error” is the state’s published workflow label. It is not a diagnosis of the underlying Portfolio Manager issue or a finding that the building failed an energy-performance target. Log in to the official account for the specific correction.
Keep future targets separate
The 2026 performance goals are not enforced under HB25-1269; annual benchmarking requirements continue. The 2030 performance standards remain relevant. Eligible owners choosing a 2019 alternative baseline must submit it by November 1, 2027; the simplified pathway-change deadline is November 1, 2028.
