Who we are

EnergyzedWorld is a publication of Eenovators Limited, a registered company headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya with offices in Uganda, Tanzania, and the United States. We can be contacted at [email protected].

What we collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the blog, serve relevant advertising, and respond to inquiries.

  • Analytics data — anonymized page views, referrer, country, device type, and approximate location (city-level). We use a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not set cross-site cookies and does not collect personal data.
  • Newsletter subscription — if you subscribe via the form on this site or via Substack, we collect your email address. Substack's own privacy practices apply to the newsletter side; see substack.com/privacy.
  • Contact and lead-form submissions — name, email, and the message you send when filling in a contact or "get an audit" form.
  • Server logs — our hosting provider (DigitalOcean) keeps standard HTTP access logs including IP address and user-agent, retained for a limited period for security and abuse prevention.

Advertising — Google AdSense

This site is monetized in part by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

  • Analytics — first-party identifiers (no cross-site tracking) to count visits anonymously.

How we use your information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the blog.
  • To respond to your inquiries (contact form / lead form).
  • To send you the newsletter you have explicitly subscribed to (and only that — we don't sell, rent, or share your email).
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Data retention

  • Newsletter subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Contact form submissions: retained for up to 24 months for follow-up.
  • Server logs: typically 30–90 days at our hosting provider.
  • Analytics data: aggregated; we do not retain personally identifiable analytics.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR including portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter where appropriate.
