- Primarily fleet charging at a non-residential location; applicant must satisfy ownership, site approval and fleet-demand requirements.
- Minimum match is 20% of net eligible costs, reduced to 10% for qualifying entities with supporting documentation.
- Personal-use, housing, micromobility and electric transit charging are excluded. Generally only ports beyond code requirements are eligible; qualifying entities have an exception.
- Federal requirements may apply to awards over $50,000 receiving federal funds; applicants cannot select the funding source.
Before you purchase or start work
Obtain an executed CEO grant agreement before costs are incurred or work starts; earlier costs and completed projects are ineligible.
Can this be combined with other funding?
Do not combine with other state charging grants for the same ports. Other incentives reduce net eligible costs and cannot count toward the required match. Obtain administrator confirmation of the full funding plan.
