Who may qualify?
Location: Colorado Springs Utilities service
Property uses: Commercial, Nonprofit, Public / institutional
- Qualified commercial customers; residential rental and multifamily housing are excluded.
- Utility assessment determines eligible retrofits and repairs.
- The published page requires SBA small-business status, no more than 50 full-time employees, annual gross revenue below $2 million, and most operations and staff in Colorado Springs.
- The utility account must be current and non-delinquent. Commercial owners and individual retail tenants may qualify; tenants need at least one year remaining on the lease and may need landlord approval.
- Confirm account eligibility: the page names E1C, E2C, ECS and ECM electric rates but also describes electric and/or water customers. Water-only eligibility needs utility confirmation.
