Up to 50% of cost, capped by the applicable square-foot incentive.
Purchase and install during the current calendar year; applications must be postmarked by January 31 of the following year. For 2026 installations, that is January 31, 2027. First come, first served, subject to funds; remaining budget is not confirmed.
Who may qualify?
Location: Colorado Springs Utilities business service
Property uses: Commercial, Industrial / manufacturing, Multifamily, Nonprofit, Public / institutional, Agriculture
- Business electric or natural-gas account.
- Attic and air sealing: lesser of 50% or $1.25/sq ft; wall insulation: lesser of 50% or $0.75/sq ft.
- New qualifying insulation; retain specification sheets, itemized invoices, before-and-after photos and measured pre/post R-values. Self-installers also need itemized material receipts and the insulation coverage chart.
- Confirm assembly-specific R-values with the utility before work: the webpage lists wall-assembly requirements, while the linked December 2025 application uses simplified R13+ interstitial and R5+ under-cladding wall entries. Do not assume those form entries replace the webpage requirements.
Before you purchase or start work
Review qualifying assemblies and resolve the webpage/application R-value differences with the utility before installation. Collect pre-installation photos and measurements; the signed application certifies completed installation.
Can this be combined with other funding?
Purchases and installations through Springs Utilities-funded assistance programs do not qualify. Confirm any other combined funding with each administrator; no broader stacking permission is established by these rules.
