Commercial utility rebates and water savings in Colorado

Equipment, service account and verified savings determine the useful number—not building size alone.

Xcel and other investor-owned utilities

Xcel offers commercial programs for lighting, HVAC, controls, studies and custom efficiency projects. Atmos, Black Hills and Colorado Natural Gas have separate gas or electric schedules. Residential heat-pump rebates should not be applied to commercial meters.

Northern Colorado

Efficiency Works serves participating business electric accounts in Estes Park, Fort Collins, Longmont and Loveland. Confirm the current schedule, measure eligibility and preapproval before equipment purchases. Water-only rebates are not processed through the energy rebate program.

Colorado Springs

The Commercial Building Efficiency Program serves qualifying electric and gas customers with buildings between 50,000 and 1 million sq ft. Published support includes 75% of approved retro-commissioning service cost, plus separately reviewed performance incentives. Implementation incentives have their own cost caps and approval conditions.

Mountain communities and cooperatives

Holy Cross, CORE, United Power, PVREA, LPEA and participating municipal utilities have distinct schedules and budgets. A provider’s name or nearby service territory is not enough to qualify an account.

Water measures

Screen efficient hot-water systems, pumps, controls and commercial water conservation with the actual water provider. Energy savings and water savings may qualify under different programs. The estimate excludes unverified water-provider awards.
